A VERY  HAPPY NEW YEAR from Mick and Jeni

at BRYN EGLWYS COTTAGES, ANGLESEY.

Thank you for visiting us last year.  In the teeth of the winter gales and rain it may seem a long time ago, but we are glad to say that our houses are already beginning to be booked for those lovely blue days of spring and summer to come.

Our Christmas and New Years visitors have reported relaxing, cosy warm holidays.  The deserted beaches and coastal path walks at this time of year are difficult to beat!

Mick and I have decided to make some changes this year which we would like to tell you about.  We are moving to Bryn Eglwys house which will mean that we have another beautiful cottage that will be available for our visitors next year. Our website bryneglwyscottages.co.uk will have all the details! But in short…………………………………………………

Bryn Eglwys has given families some wonderful times together.  It is always particularly rewarding to see three generations of a family enjoying the house.  We are now offering the best of both worlds!!  Some of your party could enjoy the warm and relaxing atmosphere of self-catering at Tyddyn Truan, whilst other members of

your party enjoy the extras involved in a bed and breakfast holiday at Bryn Eglwys.

We are very glad to be able to report that several of our previous guests are returning to take advantage of the self-catering and Bed and Breakfast combined holiday.

Tyddyn Waen, nr Beaumaris will be available later this year.  It is a lovely south facing, traditional Welsh long house and is set in three acres of its own land.  It is located in a gentle rolling part of Anglesey near the historic town of Beaumaris and enjoys spectacular uninterrupted views.  The accommodation is a very generous for four persons.  One double bedroom with private bathroom and one twin room with ensuite shower and w.c..  In addition to a contemporary kitchen and dining room the cottage offers a sitting room with a high ceiling which has a large window and door opening onto the gardens, a games room with tv, dvd, and sound system and a lovely garden room that can be accessed from within the cottage or by stone steps on the outside of the cottage.  We will happily send you more details and photos if you wish!

If you visited us during last summer you may remember the foal born here.  Billy, the foal, is continuing to grow and by now driving his mum a little bit mad.  He is non stop play!!!  He will stay with his mum until the spring and then he will be introduced to others of his age to play with.  The rest of the livestock seem to be faring well and we are looking forward to the return of the Welsh black cattle, the swallows and of course our visitors to Bryn Eglwys in the forthcoming months.

Until then all the best and we hope you enjoy a very Happy New Year.
